Stirling Markets

Years ago I started hunting for markets and different places to buy fresh foods and bargains, which has led to creating a fun healthy lifestyle. I try to keep my spending minimal so you’ll probably find a few bargains too.

Both markets are pet friendly – my precious girl (dog) always comes along!

Stirling Farmers Markets

Stirling Markets

Address: Cedric Street, Stirling

Open Times: Sundays 7:30am – 11:30am

I visit these markets regularly and if I’m lucky enough, I get to buy the best cherry tomatoes before they sell out! This market has a variety of fruit and vegetable stalls. I’ve bought food from most of them but I have my favourites. A lot of the people who own the stalls are friendly and helpful, with a passion for their produce.

There is also a great bread stand which has the most incredible wholemeal sourdough loaf! I am cutting back a bit at the moment because I eat the whole loaf in two days!

Every now and again there are different stalls set up. One week there was a big book sale and I scored good quality books for $2 each. One book in particular is really interesting and incredibly insightful called the ‘The Sugar Prevention’. It’s about weight loss and how to eat to lower your sugar levels spikes.

Kyilla Farmers Markets

Address: Kyilla Park, Clieveden St & Union Street, North Perth

Open Times: 8:00am-11:30am

This is my new favourite market to go too! It feels like a cute little country town vibe. (Anyone obsessed with Hart of Dixie? Drool…) I’ve bought fruits and vegetables from the bigger stands. They are quality, fresh and last for days!

There are children activities, a jumping castle and fun things to do for families. It’s a great way to buy healthy foods and make it a fun family adventure.

Last weekend I bought Kombucha from Wild Botanic which tastes incredible! This month I am having pro-biotics and I wanted to add Kombucha which has many great benefits for your gut health. The ladies at the stand are really helpful and inspiring. They sell kits and bottles. You can also taste test the flavours!
